Get your boat ready and
put-in at the boat ramp/floating docks, located next to the community
boathouse which offers canoe and kayak rentals. The community
boathouse is now home to Dematha High School, Elizabeth Seaton High
School, University of Maryland-men's and women's and Catholic
University-men's and women's rowing teams. The Bladensburg
Waterfront Park was one of the busiest seaports during colonial
times. Park is open from dawn to dusk. The
park also hosts the Annual Anacostia Port Towns Paddlesport Regatta which
is a community racing event with canoes, kayaks and rowing.
