    Bladensburg Waterfront Park

Get your boat ready and put-in at the boat ramp/floating docks, located next to the community boathouse which offers canoe and kayak rentals.  The community boathouse is now home to Dematha High School, Elizabeth Seaton High School, University of Maryland-men's and women's and Catholic University-men's and women's rowing teams.  The Bladensburg Waterfront Park was one of the busiest seaports during colonial times.  Park is open from dawn to dusk.

The park also hosts the Annual Anacostia Port Towns Paddlesport Regatta which is a community racing event with canoes, kayaks and rowing.
